Black Gay Men’s Blog heads back to join the discussion with The Red Room UK, on being black and gay in Africa. Here are Parts 2 and 3 of this very interesting and much needed discussion, which looks at issues such as homophobia, religion, what it means to be gay in Africa. Some people forget that Africa is a continent and not a country, so the experience in Uganda, for example, might not be the same as the experience of a gay man in Ghana. There are similarities, such as the oppression and discrimination we all face, no matter where we are, but there are also unique and fascinating differences, when it comes to being a black gay African.
