Are You Black Gay and Fem?

If you are black, gay and considered fem or are naturally effeminate and have faced discrimination from other black gay men as a result, Black Gay Men’s Blog would like to hear from you. Are you tired of being rejected because you are too effeminate? Do guys you have had sex with(or are having sex with) pass you by on the streets because you are too fem? Do some of your so-called “friends” keep you hidden away from their other friends and family, because you are too effeminate? Do you have a series of first dates, without repeats, because you are not masculine enough? Are you sick and tired of getting rejected because you are just being yourself? Do you think it is sad that some black gay men can be so dismissive of fem brothers? Would you like to tell your story and make your voice heard?

If so, Black Gay Men’s Blog would like to hear from you. We welcome all related stories, but are particularly interested  in those who are willing to be interviewed on video. The interviews will be conducted as recorded Skype videos(so please have a decent cam and be in a quiet venue) or face to face video shoots, if you are in NYC. If you are not willing to appear on video, you can still send in your story, as it will help give a more diverse representation.
